IMPORTANT: If you got your commission request in before the price and policy changes, whether you pre-paid or not you will not be required to pay the extra! That is not fair to my customers and I will not force that upon anyone! If this resulted in the cost of your commission to go down, you only need to worry about the new rate.
What I Can Draw: While Sally here is my lead example, I can draw a lot of things. You may ask by Note, but my best lies in generally Human, Anthro-Sonic, Anthropomorphic, and most vehicles whether wheeled, tracked (tanks), or bipedal/quadrupedal (such as BattleMechs). I might charge extra if the content is unfamiliar to me, but I will let you know before I begin.
Avatars: Final size is no larger than 250x250 pixels, I will probably use a base image size of about 500x500. This does save me work, especially since your avatar can have no more than one character and -- if it's humanoid -- will be only waist-up. The cost will be only half of the base medium cost.
Reference Sheets: Reference sheets are usually drawn with a side-front and an opposite side-rear facing together. I feel these offer more information than three facings (front, side, rear) and with somewhat less work to boot. If there is no information given to the back side, it will not be drawn; instead, an undressed version of the side-front will be offered. While the cost of a reference sheet is 50% more than the base medium cost, asking for or implying you may need more than three facings will increase your cost. Reference sheets may be Mature (but not Adult) for no extra charge.
Extra Characters: An additional entity such as another character or a vehicle will cost another 50% to the base medium cost. There is no limit to how many characters you want to add, just be prepared to stack an extra 50% for each one.
Mature Rating: I can technically still post these to DeviantArt; "artistic nudity" is allowed according to their rules. A character must not be showing arousal. Please note that unless you explicitly specify that there be "parts", "Barbie Doll nudity" will be assumed. While light violent content is exempt, heavy injury or death will also draw this rating. There is no more "morality fee".
Adult Rating: Adult material cannot be posted to DeviantArt, but I can still draw it for you. Like Mature ratings, it must be specifically asked for (granted, certain subject material in the request will make it obvious). There is no more "morality fee".
Comics: I am now willing to lend my services to do comics. These take a buttload of time to do, especially done right, so for each page, it'll cost four times the medium cost to do them, per page. The extra character fees do not apply if you want a comic done. Single panel comics are considered "a picture" and do not count, and two panel comics will also use that rate as well -- if it's cheaper.
When To Pay: First of all, you're not prepaying anything. I am not the most confident with my organization (and sometimes my situation can go downhill), so notes can and will get lost. I will try to tell you your cost before I get started so you can have the money saved up. I will first let you know by Note when your commission is started; no payment is due then, either. Once I am finished with your commission, I will Note you with instructions on how to pay. It will not be uploaded anywhere until I have received your payment. Once I have, I will upload it to DeviantArt, FurAffinity, InkBunny, and Weasyl unless specified otherwise. I also have private webspace that I can use if you do not want it uploaded to the general public whatsoever.
Prints: You will have to use your own printer, or on DeviantArt, buy it as a Print. The Post Office is too far away for me to walk without bending something in the process.
Math Time!: So we're on the same page, "base medium cost" means exactly that. Nothing is compound. Here's an example in case the math is confusing:
Candace Sinclair has asked for the creation of the first chapter of her origin story, which is going to be 24 pages. She doesn't mind that the pages will be roughly drawn, she just wants it out fast, so she's selected the Sketch medium for it. Even so, this is still a big project, as each page will be worth about $10.00, or 4x that of the $2.50 sketch price for comics. 24 pages * 4x multiplier for comics * 2.50 for sketches = $240.00. There's a lot of nudity and graphic violence, but with the morality fee dropped, it will not be increased further.
