A few weeks ago I began having problems with probably one of the most reliable pieces of hardware I've had in a long time. My hp scanner began to scan incorrectly, either sometimes rotating the object a weird angle, or blurring the image, or worse even totally distorting the image. At first sign I thought it was finished, ordering a new (but very cheap) scanner from NewEgg.
That was enough to convince the old scanner to work a little longer, as I kept the Canon LiDE 25 in the box for a couple weeks while I kept scanning comic pages and other miscellaneous images. Finally, the rubber toothed band inside just outright ceased up. I'm glad I ordered the replacement.
Unfortunately, that means I'm down a very, very precious 50 USD: money that could have been used on a down payment for a car. I like what I do, and I don't mind doing a few drawings for a few folks for a reasonable fee. Want to help me out, please?
